Is there a minimum job cost?
ProToCall Construction has a minimum job cost of $300 for 4 hours or less and $50 for each hour after that. Call us today in order to find out how many of your honey-do projects we can accomplish in that time.
Is there a charge for project designs?
We do not currently charge for preliminary design costs when they are required in order to provide an accurate estimate.
What is the estimating contracting process?
After you contact us, we determine whether or not your project requires an in home consultation. If appropriate we will provide you with a quote prior to scheduling an onsite meeting. If, after we email an estimate to you, you decide to proceed with ProToCall, we will either email or hand deliver a contract with job description and specifications to be signed by all parties involved. The contract will specify a start date and completion date relevant to your particular project. We require a deposit of 50% of total job cost upon signing a contract, but deposit requirements may be altered when required.
How are projects estimated?
We can provide a fixed or hourly rate for your project(s). Our rate is $50/Hour for skilled labor with a helper. Our fixed rate job costs are determined using a $50/Hour rate, and we estimate the time required to complete all tasks plus the cost of materials.
How are project costs kept to a minimum?
We consistently work to keep project costs to a minimum by keeping our operating costs and overhead to a minimum. We construct all of our custom cabinetry and woodworking in a workshop that we have set up in a commercial storage area at less than the cost of a commercial lease. We schedule all projects as time efficiently as possible. We use subcontractors as infrequently as possible in order to reduce unnecessary additional costs. We provide as many estimates via email or phone as possible in order to reduce travel time and expenses.
What can I do to keep the cost of my project down?
Things that you can do to keep the cost of your project down include anything that will save us time. Some things include painting, picking up necessary materials, clean up, moving necessary furniture and items prior to our arrival. Ask us when you email or call what you can do to keep your partiuclar project cost to a minimum.
